At The Black Butterfly Event Venue, we aim for clarity and transparency to ensure every event is a success. Here are answers to common questions about our rental policies.

Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit and signed contract are required to reserve the requested date.
  • Remaining balance is due by the payment deadline indicated on the issued invoice. 

Access & Timing

  • All booked time includes set‑up, event duration, and clean‑up.
    Please schedule appropriately when selecting your rental period.
  • Early entry or day‑before set‑up is not permitted.
    Access is only allowed during your reserved hours.
  • All events must be fully completed by the end of the rental period.
    This includes breakdown and vacating the venue.

Conduct & Responsibilities

  • Renter is responsible for any damages to the property caused by themselves or any event attendees.
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on the property.
  • All guests must behave respectfully both inside and outside the venue.
  • No loitering or gathering outside of the venue.
  • No activity is permitted that may result in complaints or police presence.
  • Events must remain controlled at all times.
    Any event that becomes unruly may be ended by the venue.

Event Type Restrictions

  • We cannot accommodate public parties, adult or teen.
  • Any event booked under false pretenses will be ended immediately by the venue.

Refunds

  • No refunds will be issued for any event that must be ended by the venue due to violations of these policies.
